Coil Steel

This is coil wire steel which looks like big wire.

Most of the metal that we use at KYORITSU is steel.

It is not just iron, but special chemical components,

such as chrome and molybdenum, have been added.

The diameter of such steel coils is 6.1mm~38.0mm.

The surface of the steel coil is gray. This is because the surface lubrication, called bondering, has been applied.

This surface lubrication reduces the friction which is generated between molds and materials during the forming process.
